Influencer Charleen Murphy teases release of debut single

Dublin influencer Charleen Murphy is set to release her debut single, this week. 

Charleen has teased her many talents across her social media and one of them is her vocal range, including singing with pop star Rita Ora.

The 24-year-old explained  'this is honestly a dream' as she teased the release of the single, which was created with DJ Ev Wilde.

Sharing a video on TikTok, Charleen said: "I am so nervous i’m THROWING my phone across the room after this but next wednesday my first ever song with Ev Wilde, coming on Wednesday. Anyone who knows me knows how long I’ve been singing so this is honestly a dream."

The song samples Jamelia’s hit song Superstar, while Charleen added: "I fear I have just made the song of the summer.” 

Charleen grew her following during the pandemic and is now well-known for her podcast 'Hold My Drink', which she co-host's with Ellie Kelly. 

Many fans have gone wild for the single already upon it's release. 

One user said: "If only Rita Ora could see you now."

Another user said: "Slay Charleen."
