St. Joseph's qualified for the Lennon Cup final yesterday afternoon with a thrilling one-point victory over Colaiste Ris in DkIT.

The final score was 2-11 (17) to 3-7 (16) in the Drogheda side's favour.

Colaiste Ris took the lead in the closing moments, however, two late points sealed safe passage through for 'the Joeys'.

The result means that De la Salle (2014) remain the last Dundalk college to claim the Lennon Cup.
