The death has occurred of Patsy (Patrick) McCann, peacefully, in the tender care of the staff of Gormanstown Wood Nursing Home, Gormanstown. Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret (Peggy), née Downey. Much-loved father of Paul.
Reposing at Magee’s Funeral Home, on Friday, from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilkerley, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House private, please.

The death has occurred of Annette McGuinness (née Ryan) of McDermott's Terrace, Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully on 15 October 2026 in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, following the loving care and attention of the staff at Silver Stream Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Pat, who passed away in June 2008, cherished mother of Joseph and Brian, and adored granny of Sarah and Ruben. Dear sister of Margaret and Joe, and predeceased by her beloved siblings Rosemary, Eamon and Susie.
Annette will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her heartbroken sons, grandchildren, brother, sister, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk , on Friday from 4pm until 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of the Holy Redeemer, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. The death has occurred of Tommy Knowles of De La Salle Crescent, Ardee, Co Louth
At Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, on Wednesday 14 October 2026. Predeceased by his darling wife Marie. Tommy will be sadly missed by his devoted children Majella, Christina, Ron and Tammy, sons-in-law Ronan, Gavin and Simon, daughter-in-law Eimear, his nine cherished grandchildren Tiernan, Felicity, Charlie, Jason, Harry, Jamie, Bobby, Alfie and Tiernan, sisters and brother Kitty (Carrie), Aileen (Murray) and Mattie, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at The Finlay Funeral Home, Patrick Tierney Street, Ardee, on Friday 16 October, from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, 17th October, at 10am in the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee, followed by burial in Old St. Mary's Cemetery, Ardee.
