Dundalk podiatrist shortlisted for Northeast Business Award

Louth based podiatrist Justin Blake has been named a finalist in the Solopreneur of the Year category at the Northeast Business Awards 2026, organised by Drogheda & District Chamber.
Blake has been named a finalist in the Solopreneur of the Year category at the Northeast Business Awards 2026, organised by Drogheda & District Chamber.
This comes less than two months after Blake opened Justin Blake Podiatry, a specialist foot and lower limb clinic at the Fairways Centre on Dublin Road, Dundalk.
Speaking about the nomination, Blake said: “I'm delighted to have been shortlisted, particularly as the clinic only opened in August.
“Having previously built and managed a larger podiatry business, I wanted to return to a more focused clinical practice and develop a modern approach to treating foot and lower limb problems.
“My aim is to help patients better understand their conditions and improve their long-term mobility and physical health.
“It's encouraging to receive this recognition at such an early stage.”
With more than 30 years of clinical experience, Blake previously established and managed a network of seven podiatry clinics before deciding to return to independent practice with a more specialised approach to patient care.
The new clinic focuses on musculoskeletal podiatry, biomechanics and rehabilitation, helping patients experiencing persistent heel pain, Achilles problems and other foot and lower limb conditions.
The winners of the Northeast Business Awards 2026 will be announced at the awards ceremony at the CityNorth Hotel on November 21st.
