Earlier in the year there was a tour of Scotland supported by the Shamrock Showband. Jamie Bishop from the band also plays guitar, keys, bass and sometimes drums at the Jinx shows.

This will be the last hometown gig before Jinx travells to Stockholm, Sweden, to play an event to celebrate the musicians featured in the 'Celtic Utopia' Irish music documentary, which was shown at Omniplex and during the 'Bold Frontiers festival in which Jinx plays, as well as other Irish luminaries, such as local artists Negro Impacto and Mary Wallopers, and Rois, Branwen, Deadlians, and Lankum.

Jinx is working on his next album which will be released next year and he will be showcasing a forthcoming exhibition in An Tain this January 2027 featuring 26 years of set lists from his live shows in that time period which Jinx has kept in storage waiting for the right opportunity to do something with them.

He is assisted by artist John Connolly and local video archivist and ex local musician David Manning. It will be called ''The Square Peg of Pearse Park''.
