All the latest news from the Dundalk and District Darts League
Week three of the Heineken-sponsored Dundalk and District Dart League saw a number of intriguing clashes taking place. In Division Two, joint table-toppers Bodhran Bandits hosted Commercial 26ers.
"The Bro" Paddy Farrell and Stevo Brady got the hosts off to a super start and had the Bandits in the driving seat.
But then the 26ers captain, Gino Cooney, led the fightback, and further wins for Conor Mackin, Dylan Cahill (Player of the Match) and Callum Fitzsimmons secured a 4-2 win for the visitors.
In Division One, Uncle Toms hosted Callans HBX. The Uncle Toms team, made up of members of the Smith and Duffy families, were looking to get their first win of the season.
Captain Jonathan Smith led the way for the hosts, and following wins for Andrew Duffy, Aaron Duffy (Player of the Match) and Denis Smith, the win was secured before wins for Larry Goodman and Kevin Campbell (Player of the Match) reduced the deficit and left the final score 4-2 for Uncle Toms.
Meanwhile in the Premier Division, Bodhran Hawks hosted The Punters. John Donnelly got the visitors off to a great start before Stephen Smith restored parity.
Bob Morgan (Player of the Match) put the visitors back in front, but wins for Cian O'Rourke (Player of the Match), Greg Rosada and Ryan Murtagh gave the hosts a 4-2 win.
