Dundalk Stadium: Preview and tips for today’s seven-race meeting

A look ahead to the seven races at Dundalk Stadium this evening
There’s more competitive racing at Dundalk Stadium this evening, where the track is set to stage seven races, with the Listed Cooley Fillies Stakes as the headline, supported by three maidens and three handicaps.
Read on for a preview of and tips for the Dundalk card, brought to you by BetBrothers.
Our opener is a five-furlong maiden (17.15). The best form is provided by Grande Cuvee, who has placed on four occasions since May and is on a competitive mark here.
Others are struggling to get close to her in the betting markets, with Emiza the next closest fancy, stepping down in trip, having been running over a mile earlier this year.
Next is a two-year-old fillies’ maiden, run over seven furlongs (17.45). Sensational Filly has shown ability so far and is a half sister to the highly decorated Constitution River.
Ladies Gossip went well on debut and can offer more here, while Bougie Gals is entitled to improve again here, back up to an arguably more suitable trip. The well-bred Corsican Night looks a possible danger on paper but is cold in the betting.
A mile and a half apprentice handicap follows (18.15). Baila Conmigo is capable of a good run and could do well on today’s mark, plus has seven pounds in hand.
Justenzia’s best form looks promising, as does her mark, but the generally consistent Autocrat looks tempting, having dropped five pounds since a good run last time.
The mile Listed Cooley Fillies Stakes is next (18.45). Aviatrice has a nice draw and can compete on this mark.
Billy Lee is a very positive jockey booking, but the pair will have to look out for Dancing Saxon, whose recent form has been consistently good and she proved that she can still compete at this mark last time out.
At the weights, however, the improving Prevalence looks attractive.
A mile maiden for two-year-old colts and gelding follows (19.15). On Just Terms was only narrowly beaten on debut at Royal Ascot and is well fancied for good reason here. Unless one of the four debutants is as talented, he is the only one to make a case for.
Second to last is a mile handicap (19.45). Daler, a course and distance winner, was only beaten a head here last time on the same mark, so he is big player.
Oro Blanco has a chance, down a pound from a fair run last time, while Exquisite Acclaim also looks fairly attractive after a close midfield finish at this track last time. Boston Benjamin, though, looks handy each-way.
Last of all is a mile handicap (20.15). Wegotogether looks interesting, down one pound from last time out and equipped with cheekpieces for the first time here.
Hooves Your Daddy makes plenty of appeal too, up in trip for the first time after a good fourth of 14 over seven furlongs last time. Una Matata should be part of it aswell.
