Teagasc is holding a one to one forestry clinics
Teagasc’s Forestry Development Department has organised forestry clinics for people who are considering forestry as an enterprise in County Louth.
This one-to-one consultation is being held on Thursday 19 th February in Teagasc Office Dundalk, A91 PVW4.
The current Forestry Programme 2023-2027 offers landowners attractive opportunities in relation to forest creation with a wide range of planting options available, from small areas of native woodland to combining trees and livestock through agroforestry, or forests grown primarily to produce timber while providing many other benefits.
A consultation with your Teagasc forestry advisor allows time to consider how growing trees might fit in with you overall farming objectives and how they can contribute to improving income, labour efficiencies and farm sustainability.
