The Fireside Sessions at Toales Live Venue continue to serve up top-class live music, with a special night in store on Thursday, 14th August.
Taking to the stage will be Biskee Brisht, joined by singer-songwriter Joshua King, for an evening of genre-spanning talent—all with free admission.
Biskee Brisht is an indie-folk-pop band from the Isle of Man, known for their catchy, hook-laden songs, energetic performances and captivating storytelling.

Sharing the bill, Dundalk's very own Joshua King offers heartfelt songwriting and soulful performances that have been continually winning over Fireside Sessions audiences.
Kicking off at 9pm, this is a perfect chance to soak up great live music in the intimate, relaxed setting of Toales’ Fireside Sessions—without spending a cent on entry.
Friday 15th August will see Cornerman light up Toales Live Venue, Dundalk, with support from Eugene O’Hanlon and guests. Doors 9pm, admission €5.
Like a sugar-rushed child on a communion bouncy castle, Cornerman throws himself into every performance with infectious energy, determined to get the crowd moving.
His music blends delicate, heartfelt lyrics with a driving alt rock sound—packed with growling riffs, dramatic soundscapes, and ear-grabbing hooks.
With gigs under his belt from intimate pub corners to renowned stages like The TLT, and The Button Factory, Cornerman is now kicking off his commercial release journey.
He has six singles on the way, a debut EP due this year, and a second EP already in the works for 2026.
Support on the night comes from Dundalk’s own Eugene O’Hanlon, who brings a unique sound and style that defies easy description.

Toales Live Venue, Dundalk, is thrilled to welcome The Bionic Rats to the stage on Saturday, August 16th.
Formed in Dublin in 2006 by frontman Del Bionic, following the breakup of reggae outfit King Sativa, The Bionic Rats have spent the past two decades perfecting their signature mix of ska, reggae, and soul.
Known for their infectious grooves and powerhouse live shows, they’ve become a cornerstone of the Irish music scene.
The band has supported legends like Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Horace Andy, The Beat, Jimmy Cliff, The Selecter, and Bad Manners, and in 2023 served as the backing band for Roy Ellis of Symarip.
One of their most memorable moments came when Ranking Roger joined them on stage for what would be his final Irish performance.
With four studio albums, a live record, and an incredible 18-year residency at Dublin’s Foggy Dew, The Bionic Rats are one of Ireland’s most seasoned and beloved live acts.
