Women’s Aid Dundalk have put together a dancing event as part of the annual One Billion Rising event to fight against violence against woman and children in Ireland and across the world
The dance event is taking place on Wednesday March 19th 2025, at 10am at The Square and everyone is welcome.
The One Billion rising campaign began in 2013 and aims to bring woman together to rise up against gender-based violence that happens to one billion woman at least once in their lives.
"We're aiming to create a vibrant celebration of dance, uniting various local community groups," Woman's Aid said.
The dance will start at 10:30am and a panel of speakers will be lined up afterwards.
Dundalk FM's Town Talk will also be broadcasting live from the event.
