Upcoming gigs in Dundalk's Toales for the Bank Holiday weekend

Eugene O'Hanlon will play in Toales on Thursday night

There is plenty of live music in Toales on Crowe Street in Dundalk this weekend.

Thursday 1st August - Toales Fireside Sessions presents Eugene O'Hanlon plus Peter Rafter - show starts 9pm, free admission

Fireside Sessions is an acoustic club that showcases the best in acoustic acts, always inside by the fire in the bar, always free admission, and is proud to welcome back Dundalk's very own Eugene O'Hanlon, who's unique sound and style is difficult to describe, with infectiously odd songs that demand his audience get involved in every time.

Support on the night comes from singer/songwriter Peter Rafter.

Show starts 9pm and as always the Fireside Session is free admission

Friday 2nd August - Free gig inside the bar

Saturday 3rd August - The Queen Magic Experience - Doors 8pm - Admission €15

Get ready for a two hour show as Belfast's The Queen Magic Experience takes you on a musical journey that spans the legendary rock band Queen's 20 year career, from their early progressive rock, hard rock, and heavy metal, right through to their more conventional and radio-friendly arena rock and pop rock, reproducing with perfection all their massive hits like Killer Queen, Radio Gaga, Another One Bites the Dust, We Will Rock You, Hammer To Fall and of course Bohemian Rhapsody.

Sunday 4th August - Toales Sunday Session presents Mirrorglass plus Four Way Mirror plus String Cut Puppets -  Doors 5.30pm, admission €10

Toales Sunday Session is very proud to present Mirrorglass, winners of Cavan Institute’s Win Big song contest. With their newly released single "Where will you go?",

Mirrorglass prove that they're one of the most exciting and energetic young bands around right now.

After the release of their critically acclaimed debut single “Hey Honey”, the band rocked the roof off Rockathon’s main stage at Fairyhouse Racecourse to a huge crowd in May 2023 and since then have gone from strength to strength, with blistering live shows around the country.

Support on the night comes from two excellent bands, and Toales' favourites, Dundalk's Four Way Mirror and alt-rockers String Cut Puppets.

Early doors 5.30pm - 9pm. Admission €10.
