Thursday will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain, most persistent and heavy in the northern half of the province.
Turning colder with highest afternoon temperatures of 3 to 5 degrees in northern parts with fresh northeast winds, temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees further south in light southwest winds.
Thursday night: Wet and breezy with a clearance extending from the North.
However, rain and drizzle may linger across eastern counties until later.
Turning cold with some frost and ice setting in, as northerly winds gradually ease. Lowest temperatures of -3 to + 2 degrees.
