Louth Weather: Few bright spells but cloud will follow

Some heavy bursts are possible

A few bright spells are possible at first on Wednesday morning, but it will soon cloud over.

After a dry start, outbreaks of rain will develop in the west during the late morning and extend eastwards to all parts during the afternoon.

Some heavy bursts are possible. It will become breezy also as southerly winds increase moderate to fresh, with strong winds developing near the south coast.

Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees.

Rain over the eastern half of the country will clear early on Wednesday night.

Clear spells and scattered showers will follow from the west, with showers mainly affecting Atlantic coastal counties.

Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees with a touch of frost possible later in light to moderate southerly winds.
