Cold morning with frost and ice only gradually clearing. Dry and sunny to start but becoming cloudier from the west during the afternoon.
Rain arriving in western parts from late afternoon and spreading eastwards through the evening. Highest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees in a freshening southwest breeze.
Wet and blustery early Friday night with widespread rain and moderate to fresh and gusty southerly winds.
The rain will gradually clear eastwards overnight and will be followed by clear spells and scattered showers.
Winds will ease and become westerly. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees with frost possible later.
