A mostly cloudy and misty start to the day with just patchy light rain and drizzle. Some well scattered showers developing in the west of the province later in the day.

While there'll be some clear spells, it'll be mostly cloudy on Thursday night, with a little patchy light rain and drizzle continuing to move east-northeastwards, along with some mist and hill fog.
Later in the night, more persistent rain will move into the southwest. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 11 degrees.
Winds will be light and variable for a time, becoming southeasterly and freshening in the southwest and west.
