Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees

Thursday will see a damp start in the east and southeast as rain clears into the Irish Sea through the morning.

It will be blustery with a mix of scattered showers and sunny spells for the rest of the day.

Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees with moderate to fresh west to northwest winds.

Showers will be most frequent and heaviest over the western half of the country. Some clear spells too.

Lows of 4 to 8 degrees, coolest in the east, with moderate to fresh and even strong mostly southwesterly winds.
