Mostly dry today with a few sunny spells at first before better sunshine develops later. Highest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees with moderate east to southeast winds developing, fresher in the south, before easing mostly light later.

High pressure dominating at first with largely dry conditions. Temperatures increasing midweek. More unsettled conditions developing towards the weekend.

Tuesday night: Dry, cold and mostly clear. Some frost expected with lowest temperatures of -1 to +4 degrees, coldest in Ulster, in light easterly breezes. A few mist and fog patches may also develop.
