You can always rely on Aoife Byrne to be first at training regardless of where or when it is. She’s always the first to grab the bibs and run for the rondos. You can tell she’s a teacher I guess.
LIKELIEST TO BECOME A NUN?
Dearbhla O’Connor. With her pleasant and caring personality, any convent would be lucky to have Dearbhla. However, whether they’d take her tan, lashes and other accessories is questionable.
Eilis Hand. Most intelligent goes to the player we all call on whenever we get injured, even outside our own training. Even when we self-diagnose ourselves with injuries, she’s there to confirm or else tell us (especially me) to “get on with it”.
This one simply goes to Darren (Bishop) because he loves the pre-match tunes in the dressing room.
I guess this has to go to either myself and my fellow drama queen, Ceire Nolan. Let’s just say if there’s ever a complaint to be made or something wrong with us, we’d make ourselves heard.
Niamh Rice. With her groovy shades, she is our youngest team member and soon to be our singing superstar.
As they say, ‘the teacher is always right'. Therefore I would have to say the most likely to be future managers are Susan Byrne and Sarah Quinn. Both are hard workers on the field and with vast football experience, I’ve no doubt any team would be lucky to have then as managers.
Lauren Boyle. Without a doubt the worst dresser on the team. She arrives at every training wearing at least one item of Dublin gear. Will she ever support the culchies, I wonder?
Brigid Russell. With her vast array of emojis and mom jokes, she likes to keep the WhatsApp active at every opportunity.
LONGEST IN THE SHOWER?
The shower trio comprises of Michelle McMahon, Rebecca Carr and Jenny McGuinness. Let’s just say I wouldn’t like to know any clubs’ water bill after them!
TEAM-MATE OF MOST USE TO YOU ON A DESERT ISLAND?
Kate Flood. I think it’s most important to have someone who will listen to me complaining. Therefore, Kate is the ideal candidate as she loves listening to my dramatic stories!
