Division 3A
Glen Emmets 0-7 Roche Emmets 2-15
Roche Emmets remain two points clear at the top of Division 3A as they continued their impressive early-season momentum with victory over Glen Emmets.
The game in Tullyallen saw the visitors on top from the outset and they had a fine contribution of 1-6 from Barry O’Hare as they eased to victory.
Roche began well and saw Shane Byrne, Kevin Callaghan and Enda Murphy all raise white flags before Ian Cusack opened the Glen Emmets account.
That score only proved to be a minor setback for the visitors at O’Hare kicked four successive points to help his side lead by 0-8 to 0-2 at the break.
Liam Carthy then grabbed the first goal of the game to put his side firmly in control after 42 minutes, and within three minutes Barry O’Hare had the ball in the net for a second time.
Substitute Ronan Grufferty offered the only real resistance for the Glen Emmets as he kicked four second half points.
