Braces for Clarke, Hearty and O'Kane as Muirhevna stick seven past Newfoundwell

Muirhevna Mor 7-2 Newfoundwell

Muirhevna Mor made it two league win on the trot on Friday night by hammering Newfoundwell in Dundalk.

Micky O’Kane put Marc Griffin’s side ahead on 15 minutes before Paudi Hearty struck a five-minute double to extend the lead to a comfortable three.

And it was 4-0 by half-time, Gary Clarke getting in on the scoring act.

Newfoundwell fought back somewhat in the second half, but were still outscored by a rampant Mor, Brendan Hughes, Clarke and O’Kane firing home to bring the winners’ total to seven.
