Kilmessan Shield

Moneymore 2-2 Bellurgan United

Two goals from Shane Finnegan ensured Bellurgan United made it two Kilmessan Shield matches unbeaten on Thursday night - but they were left frustrated after Moneymore bagged a last gasp leveller.

Tied at 1-1 at the break, Finnegan had Jason McConville’s team in front in the second half, though they finished the game with 10 men after losing a player to injury having already made five substitutions.

The late equaliser was hard to take for Bellurgan, who had been the better of the sides despite fielding without a number of players who were involved in last week’s win over Bay.

Bellurgan Utd: Robbie Arthur; Dermot Treanor, Patrick Lynch, Alan Connor, Chris Lawson; Shane O’Brien, Stephen Finnegan, John Smyth, Owen Armstrong, Shane Finnegan; Tadhg O’Connor

Subs: Niall Donnelly, Luke Higgins, Barry Dunne, Gerry Browne, Shane McAvinney
