Today's O'Byrne Cup fixture between Louth and Wicklow has been postponed.

The match was due to go ahead in Bray at 3pm, but persistent overnight rainfall has left the Bray Emmets field unplayable.

Louth's next scheduled game in the competition pits them against Longford on January 5, though it would be assumed that the postponed fixture will be played in the meantime.

Wayne Kierans got his competitive reign as Louth manager off to a losing start against Wexford last weekend.
