Barry Carr registered a goal of the season contender and Conor Macken scored twice as Woodview Celtic moved up to third in Division Two with a 4-2 win over Parkvilla in Muirhevnamor on Sunday afternoon.

Following a really impressive start by Woodview where they ferociously pressed Parkvilla, the hosts' player/manager Macken drove a cracking effort to the net from 30-yards as the Blue and Whites translated their early dominance into a lead.

Parkvilla got themselves back on level terms, however, that parity was short-lived as Deane Browne clipped in Woodview's second on the stroke of half-time with Carr providing his second assist of the half.

But that goal seemed to inspire the visitors into action and they drew level in controversial circumstances. A handball claim from Woodview wasn't picked up on by the referee and the move ended with Parkvilla levelling for the second time.

However, Woodview recovered their dominance and Carr's special strike put them back in front. Last week he looped an effort to the net from 40-yards, but this week his shot from range was an absolute bullet into the top-corner.

Macken converted Woodview's fourth, and his second, from the penalty spot towards the close following a foul on Carr, who has maintained his great run of form.
