Parkvilla 3 Woodview Celtic 2
Woodview Celtic went down to a third league defeat of the season against Parkvilla on Friday night, losing with virtually the final kick of the ball.
Having started slowly, Woodview went behind on 20 minutes. Though Stephen Begley pulled them back on level terms, heading home at the back post from Deane Browne's right-wing cross. It was an impressive move from Woodview with Gavin Gaffey also involved.
And they went to the break in the lead when, after Paul McArdle had been fouled, Conor Macken dispatched a penalty kick.
It remained that way until five-minutes to go when a mistake in the visiting defence allowed Parkvilla a leveller before the hosts won it in the 93rd minute.
Woodview Celtic: Keith Morris; Deane Browne, Shane English, Dylan Thornton, Shea McArdle; Paul McArdle, Conor Macken, Caolan Dines; Gavin Gaffey, Jason Myles, Stephen Begley
Subs: Danann Killeen, Cain Bromley
