Redeemer Celtic 2 Torro United 4
Redeemer Celtic's disappointing week went from bad to worse on Sunday afternoon with defeat to Torro United.
Having lost the points from their victory over Albion earlier in the campaign due to an administrative error, Torro inflicted a comprehensive third defeat of the season on Stephen Fisher's charges.
A mistake in the Redeemer defence gifted Torro their opener before an own-goal saw them double their advantage before the break.
Seán Bailey struck the post as Redeemer began the second-half brightly before the striker converted from the spot after Kevin McCormack was fouled when through on goal.
Another own-goal proved a further setback for the hosts before a mazy run and finish by Andy McDermott gave them hope in the closing moments.
But, having sent everyone forward for a corner in search of an equaliser, Torro broke for a fourth in the final minute.
Redeemer Celtic: Kyle Murphy; Niall Kelly, Conor Brennan, Seán McCourt, Andy McDermott; Simon O'Shaughnessy, Wojceich Gladysz, Barry Grimes, Martin Murphy; Kevin McCormack, Seán Bailey
Subs: Caolan Carroll, Colm Bracken
