Dundalk Set to Host Inaugural Half Marathon and 10K in Association with Dundalk BIDS

Bear Races, in partnership with Dundalk Business Improvement District Scheme (BIDS), is excited to announce the launch of the first Dundalk Half Marathon and 10K, set to take place on Saturday, April 6th, 2024.

This much-anticipated event marks a significant addition to Dundalk’s annual sporting calendar, offering both local and visiting athletes the opportunity to experience Dundalk's vibrant town centre and picturesque suburbs through a uniquely designed route.

The event, which begins and concludes in the heart of Dundalk Town Centre, starts with the 10K race at 10:00 am followed by the half marathon at 10:20 am.

This race is attracting runners from across the region and will be a significant boost to the local economy.

It offers an unparalleled opportunity to showcase Dundalk as a premier venue for major sporting events, underlining the town's ability to host large gatherings and spotlighting its appeal as a destination for both competitive runners and enthusiasts alike.
