Ireland to play friendly at Aviva Stadium before Euro opener against France next March

The Republic of Ireland will welcome Latvia to the Aviva Stadium for an international friendly on March 22, 2023 before the Boys in Green open their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign against France in Dublin on March 27.

Ireland last played Latvia in a friendly encounter in 2013 - the first game of the Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane era which got off to a winning start thanks to a 3-0 victory at the Aviva Stadium.

Stephen Kenny's side will play the two fixtures in March before they take on Greece (A) and Gibraltar (H) in the qualifiers next June.

27/03 - Republic of Ireland v France

16/06 - Greece v Republic of Ireland

19/06 - Republic of Ireland v Gibraltar

07/09 - France v Republic of Ireland

10/09 - Republic of Ireland v Netherlands

13/10 - Republic of Ireland v Greece

16/10 - Gibraltar v Republic of Ireland

18/11 - Netherlands v Republic of Ireland
