Republic of Ireland Men’s Under-15s will kick-off 2024 by hosting Australia MU16s in Dublin this week.
Jason Donohue’s young side come into the new year off the back of winning the UEFA Development Tournament in Serbia in November. The young boys in Green overcame Greece, Serbia and Venezuela to win the tournament and will be looking to bring that confidence against the Socceroos on Saturday in Dublin.
Donohue has named a 19-player squad for the friendly. Dundalk FC youngsters Séan Spaight and TJ Molloy have been included in the Irish squad.
In last year’s fixture, Ireland overcame Australia 3-1. It was the first time the countries had met at that level since 2020.
