The search for a missing 59-year-old has been stood down following the discovery of a woman's body.
Gardaí issued the harrowing update earlier this morning and thanked the public for any assistance provided.
Krystyna Adamczyk had been missing from Mallow in Co. Cork since Thursday, February 26th.

She was last seen in Mallow on Wednesday, February 25th.
Gardaí and her family had been worried about her well-being.
