MISSING: Gardaí issue urgent appeal as teenage boy not seen in over four days

17-year-old Kieran Cawley has been reported missing

A 17-year-old boy from Leitrim has been reported from his home in Carrick-on-Shannon earlier this week.

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the boy's whereabouts who has been missing since Wednesday 26th March 2025.

According to gardaí, Kieran was last seen at approximately 9am on that day.

Kieran is described as being 5 foot 9 inches in height, with a stocky build, blonde hair and blue eyes.

When last seen, Kieran was wearing a hoodie, runners and black trousers.

Anyone with any information on Kieran's whereabouts is asked to contact Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Station on (071) 965 0510, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
