Lotto player in County Limerick wins big with over €2.5 million jackpot!

The Lotto has delivered yet another jackpot win, marking an impressive start to 2025 with FOUR Lotto Jackpot winners in just two months. The latest draw has produced a €2,655,366 winner, bringing the total prize money won in Lotto Jackpots so far this year to over €12.5 million.

A National Lottery player in County Limerick has become Ireland’s newest multi-millionaire after winning €2,655,366 on Saturday, 1st March's main Lotto draw. Their winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on 26th February. The Limerick winner becomes the fourth Lotto jackpot winner of 2025, joining the ranks of other big winners from Dublin, Kerry and Louth.

The winning numbers in main Lotto draw were: 2, 6, 7, 10, 28, 32 and the Bonus was 19.

The National Lottery has confirmed that the store location where the winning Lotto Jackpot ticket was purchased will be announced on Tuesday, 4th March.

Adding to the night of big wins, a Dublin player scooped an incredible €119,357 after matching 5 numbers and the bonus in last night’s main Lotto draw. The Dublin player purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket on Thursday, 27th February, from SuperValu, Pavillion Shopping Centre, Swords, Co. Dublin.

This is the second big win of the weekend for Dublin, as a Cabra player won an incredible €500,000 in Friday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw.

Darragh O’Dwyer, National Lottery spokesperson said:

“It’s been a phenomenal start to the year with multiple Jackpot wins already. To have four winners in just two months is remarkable, and we’re delighted for our latest jackpot winner who has just become Ireland’s newest millionaire.
