RIP: Sad update as gardaí stand down search for missing man after finding body
Gardaí have stood down a search for a missing man after the discovery of a body.
In a statement on Wednesday, gardaí said: "Following the discovery of a man’s body, the missing person appeal in respect of 35-year-old Mateusz (Matty) Margol, who was reported missing from Nenagh, Co. Tipperary on Wednesday 7th August 2024, has now been stood down.
"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and public for their assistance in this matter. No further action is required and no further information is available at this time."
