Gardaí have issued an update on a missing persons case involving an 18-year-old woman.
"Caérie Broughall, 18 years, who was missing from Athlone, Co. Westmeath since 12th July 2024, has been located," a garda spokesperson said.
"We would to thank the public and media for their assistance," they added.
The missing person was last seen on the Roscommon Road, Athlone at approximately 11.15am on Friday 12th July, 2024.
This prompted concern and an appeal by gardaí to help locate her.
