A man aged in his 60s has died after a car crash in Co Offaly.
The incident took place on the L2015 at New Road in Clara on Monday morning.
Shortly after 8.50am, Gardai and emergency services were alerted to the single-car collision
The man aged in his 60s, who was the driver of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be arranged.
Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dashcam) and were travelling in the area at the time are urged to make this footage available to Gardai.
