Warning to other motorists after lucky escape from horror crash on M50 PIC: Dublin Fire Brigade
A warning has been issued to other drivers after the occupants of a car wrecked in an M50 crash had a lucky escape on Sunday.
Dublin Fire Brigade shared shocking images from the crash on Sunday evening between Junctions 4 and 5.
A car that had broken down was struck from behind at high speed. Luckily, the occupants were no longer in the car at the time.
"Occupants of this vehicle were safely behind the crash barrier when the collision took place," Dublin Fire Brigade explained in a post warning others to do the same in the event of a breakdown.
"Always exit your vehicle and wait behind the crash barrier if you break down," they advised.
No injuries were reported from this incident.
