Apple users urged to update software to prevent hacking

THERE has been an urgent software update issued by Apple and users are being urged to update their phones immediately to prevent a potential hack.

The new update will prevent hackers taking full control of people's devices using Rapid Security Responses.

According to Apple ‘Rapid Security Responses are a new type of software release for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

They deliver important security improvements between software updates and a new type of software release for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.’

The update confirms ‘it will provide important security fixes and is recommended for all users.”

The latest update of iOS and iPadOS to look out for is 16.5.1. 

With a number of people using Apple Wallet and linking their bank cards to their phones it is important to make sure all updates are up to date to give yourself the best level of security and protection.
