Emmet Smith weighed in with four points for the Westerns while Anthony Durning and Conor Kerr were also on target, but it wasn’t enough to take anything from the game as Micheal McCabe’s goal helped the visitors come out on top.

Nh Fionnbarra 2-14 Lannleire 2-10
Nh Fionnbarra recovered from a slow start to claim victory over Lannleire in a highly entertaining game at John Markey Park on Thursday evening.
The visitors made a bright start to the match and found themselves 0-5 to 0-2 to the good when Bob Murphy ran from the 45m line before planting a shot in the back of the net to put his side very much in command after a quarter of the game.
It got even better for the Dunleer side soon after when Ian Mulroy added a second goal. However, the Barrs gave themselves a lifeline just before the short whistle when a move involving Jack Butterly and Adam Hanratty saw the ball bundled over the line by Chris McGlynn.
The tables turned in the second half, as Togher played with real intent and set about reducing the deficit. In the space of 15 minutes, with scores from Jack Murtagh, Colm Smith and Stephen O'Reilly, the deficit was cut to just three points.
As this exciting encounter came to an end, it looked as though Dunleer had done enough as they broke up the field to rattle the crossbar and almost seal the game.
The hosts took advantage of this reprieve as they dominated the closing stages with a goal from Conor Osbourne saw them claim victory.

In the end the Moutrush side had six points to spare but they were made fight all the way by a battling Dowdallshill outfit.

John MItchels made it eight wins from eight in Division 3 on Sunday evening with an excellent victory over O’Connells in The Grove.

O’Connells responded with some scores of their own to leave the half time score 1-6 to 0-6.
The second half started well for the hosts, with Jackie Agnew firing over the first score to cut the deficit to two, but it wasn’t to last with John Mitchels finding the second goal of the game from John Gallagher soon after to strengthen their lead.
Another two-pointer from John Gallagher, two Trevor Matthews points, and a Gareth Kane saw the visitors extend their lead out to eleven points before Robert Quigley put an end to the hosts scoring drought with the O’Connell’s second point of the half.
