GROUP A
MATTOCK RANGERS 0-11 SEAN O'MAHONYS 1-9
On a dreadful night for football, Sean O’Mahony’s picked up their second Paddy Sheelan Cup win to go top of the Group A table at holders Mattock Rangers' expense.
The result looks to be fatal for Rangers chances of reclaiming the Cup back to Collon. Junior Shotayo’s goal would ultimately prove to be the difference between the two sides.

GLENN EMMETS 1-17 O’RAGHALLAIGHS 2-14
Both sides played out a wonderfully entertaining draw at Cusack Park in Tullyallen on Sunday morning, the manner of the levelling own goal by the Glen Emmets player who will remain nameless meant both sides went away somewhat pleased with the result.
The Drogheda side edged the first half by the minimum 0-7 to 0-6 thanks to county panelist Kyle McElroy. James Butler impressed again for Emmets.
Early second half Lorcan Lynch came off the bench to find the net and Kealan O’Neill looked to seal the game with seven scores in a row from five shots but Pearse Rice scored a goal shortly before the equaliser.

GROUP B
NH MAIRTIN 1-11 ST. FECHINS 0-3
Nh Mairtin picked up their first win of the season when they cruised to a comfortable victory in Group B of the Paddy Sheelan Cup on Sunday morning in Beaulieu.
After finishing level with Hunterstown on the opening weekend, the Jocks made no mistake against a Fechins side who have opened the campaign with successive defeats.
In a game played in very difficult conditions, it was the hosts who made the brighter start with the first two points of the game through Matthew Flanagan and Colm O’Neill before Eoghan Winters pulled one back for the Mairtins.
The final score of the half arrived on 18 minutes when Evan Whelan grabbed the only goal of the game to send his team in leading by 1-1 to 0-2 at halftime.
Within four minutes of the restart the visitors had taken control of the match as Jack Murphy landed points either side of a Joe McGrane two-pointer.
The Fechins managed to add just one further point to their tally through John O’Connell as the Monasterboice men saw the game out comfortably with the help of scores from Tom Gray and Enda McDonnell.

GROUP C
DUNDALK GAELS 4-10 STABANNON PARNELLS 0-11
Dundalk Gaels picked up their first win of the new season when they proved too strong for Stabannon Parnells on Sunday morning.
Following their defeat to Cooley in the opening round, the Ramparts side turned in an improved display and emerged deserving winners with three first-half goals helping them build a solid platform.
In terms of possession, there wasn’t a lot between the teams in the opening period with scores from Padraig Reynolds helping to keep Parnells very much in the game.
However, the Dundalk men displayed their eye for goal as three-pointers from Dylan McKeown, Jack Mullen and Eanna McArdle had their side leading by 3-2 to 0-8 at halftime.
The second half proved to me a much more one-sided affair as the Gaels took control of proceedings. McKeown and Shaun Duffy added points for the winners while David McComish added a fourth goal to seal the victory.
DUNDALK GAELS: Adrian Rafferty; James Lynch, Tom Murphy, Shaun Duffy 0-2; Sean Lambert, James O’Connell, Jack Mullen 1-1; Jordan Keating, Luke Murray; Liam Coleman, Tom O’Connell, David McComish 1-0; Dylan McKeown 1-5 (2 2p), Christine Sweeney, Eanna McArdle 1-1.
Subs: Paddy O’Connell, Alan Jumbo, Conall McArdle 0-1, Preston Keating, Ryan DelDuca, James Haughey, Aaron Culligan, Emmet Lindsay, Daniella Gregory.
STABANNON PARNELLS: Paudi Malone; Michael Lynch, Ryan Halpenny, Daniel Clinton; Conor Clinton 0-2, Johnny McGee, Shane Brady; Jake Corrigan, Niall Cluskey; Dean Lynch, Bobby Butterly 0-2, Tristan Harding 0-1; Padraig Reynolds 0-6, Harry Butterly, Niall Fanning.
Subs: Robert Callaghan for N Fanning, Cillian Byrne for D Lynch, Shay Halpenny for H Butterly.
KILKERLEY EMMETS 2-14 COOLEY KICKHAMS 0-14
A goal in each half helped Kilkerley Emmets to see off the challenge of Cooley Kickhams at home in the Paddy Sheelan Cup on Sunday morning.
Ciaran Bellew and Micheal Begley provided the majors as the Emmets came out on top in what proved to be an entertaining Group C encounter.
It was Cooley who were on top in the opening exchanges as they went three points ahead before Kilkerley hit back when Begley’s opening point was followed by Bellew’s goal.
The visitors responded and regained the lead approaching half time but scores from Tadhg McEneaney and Brian Brady saw their side lead by 1-5 to 0-7 at the break.
Cooley opened the second half with a point to level the game but the hosts asserted their authority Begley landed two two-pointers either side of a goal to put his side in control.
Fionn Cumiskey also got on the scoresheet for the hosts to help secure a six-point victory, despite Cian Connor and Callum O’Hanlon scoring three points apiece for the peninsula outfit.
KILKERLEY EMMETS: Callum Mulholland; Oran McMahon, Cillian Mulligan, Fintan Brady; Kieran Lennon, Patrick Murtagh, Brian Brady 0-1; Cathal Bellew, Kieran Murtagh, Fionn Cumiskey 0-1, Ciaran Bellew 1-0, Tadhg Fitzgerald; Rian Hand, Michael Begley 1-10, Tadgh McEneaney 0-2.

Carl Gillespie and Jonathan Commins finished with seven points apiece as St Marys got the better of St Mochtas in this Paddy Sheelan Cup Group D encounter.
Saturday night’s clash at Pairc Mhuire produced another high-scoring game but it was the hosts who came out on top to make it two wins from two in the competition.
Fionn Coyle scored the only goal of the game for his side who had opened their campaign with a midweek win over Young Irelands.
ST. MARYS: James McGillick; Bobby Carroll, Paraic McKenny, Fionn Coyle 1-0; Noah Coyle, Tiernan Corrigan 0-1, Carl Gillespie 0-7; Evan Malone, Cillian Keenan; TJ Doheny 0-1, Jonathan Commins 0-7, Luke Keenan 0-1; Cian Commins 0-1, Conor Gillespie, Andy Murphy 0-1.
