Louth side named ahead of the Rossies clash

The Louth senior football side has been named ahead of their Allianz National Football League Division 2, Round 2, clash against Roscommon at Integral GAA Park, Drogheda, on Sunday.

The starting team shows a couple of changes from the side that started over Westmeath in Mullingar in Round 1 of the competition last week.

Conall McKeever returns at right half back while Tommy Durnin, who came on as a second-half substitute against Westmeath is set to start in midfield. The players they replace are Dermot Campbell and Conor Grimes.

Ger Brennan has named his Louth team as: 1. Niall McDonnell; 2. Dan Corcoran, 3. Peter Lynch, 4. Donal McKenny; 5. Conall McKeever, 6. Emmet Carolan, 7. Craig Lennon; 8. Tommy Durnin, 9. Dara McDonnell; 10. Kieran McArdle, 11. Ciarán Downey, 12. Andy McDonnell; 13. Ciarán Keenan, 14. Sam Mulroy (c), 15. Ryan Burns.

Substitutes: 16. Tiernan Markey, 17. Liam Jackson, 18. Daire McConnon, 19. Dermot Campbell, 20. Ciarán Murphy, 21. Seán Reynolds, 22. Val Leddy, 23. Tadhg McDonnell, 24. Daire Nally, 25. Pearse Grimes-Murphy, 26. Fearghal Malone.

The Roscommon team has yet to be named.
