Excellent footage by local man David Caldwell captures the moment the 3,269 tonne Wilson Dover cargo ship turns around at Dundalk port.
The ship - which is nearly the length of a soccer pitch - was built in 1993 and measures 87 metres long. The footage shows a tug boat helping it in its maneuvering.
As this story goes to print the vessel is off the coast of Scotland, near the Isle of Skye.
