  • An Coimisiún Pleanála (formerly An Bord Pleanála) has overturned the decision by Louth County Council to refuse planning permission for 20 apartments at Francis Street in Dundalk.
  • €5 million has been allocated for a major redevelopment planned for Dundalk Fire Station, with a further €3 million allocated towards a new fire station in Dunleer, it was announced last week.
  • Louth County Council has been told to use everything at its disposal to address illegal dumping in the county.
