The death has occurred of Peadar Breen of Muirhevna, Dublin Road, Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully, in his 90th year after a short illness, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Nora, brothers Michael and Patrick, and sister Helena. Beloved husband and best friend of Mary (née Brady) and dear dad of Eamonn, Martina, Jennifer, Gillian and Siobhán.
Peadar will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving wife, son, daughters, sons-in-law Andrew Sorene, Miguel Abascal, Tom Duffy, Séan Quigley and Joe McNally, his adored grandchildren Tádgh, Aoibheann, Killian, Miguel, Setanta, Rossagh, Noah and Seth, his cherished great-grandson Salvador, brother Liam, sister Angela Mulholland, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and by all his wonderful neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Shevlin’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Friday morning from his home at 11.40am driving to St. Patrick's Cathedral, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Fursey's Cemetery, Haggardstown. The death has occurred of Stella Cassidy (née McEneaney) of "Stone Cottage", Priorstate, Louth Village, Co Louth
Peacefully on 30 March 2026, at her home, surrounded by the love and support of her family. Beloved wife of Tom, cherished mother of Barry, Mark and Kelly, and much-loved nana to Sam, Ruby, Cillian and Rowan. Sister of Mary and Margaret, predeceased by her sister Ann.
Fondly remembered and deeply missed by her heartbroken husband, sons and daughter, grandchildren, Kelly’s fiancee Shane, daughter-in-law Maria and Mark’s partner Linda, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, warmth and gentle presence.
Reposing at her home on Wednesday from 2pm until 8pm. Removal on Holy Thursday afternoon at 12noon from her home to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Louth, arriving for Funeral Liturgy at 12.30pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
