May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Niall Fitzpatrick of Bachelors Walk, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, on Tuesday 17 March 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Kitty, and brothers Michael and Martin. Niall will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his sister Ann Connor, brother-in-law Tom, nephew David, nieces Aileen and Katie, extended family and his many friends and fellow musicians.

Reposing at Shevlin's Funeral Home, Barrack Street on Friday from 2pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.40am driving to St. Patrick's Cathedral, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Enquiries to Shevlin’s Funeral Home.

The death has occurred of Deborah Berrill (née Keeley) of Newry, Down / Dundalk, Louth / Donegal

On 18 March 2026, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Sean, devoted mother of Jacqueline and Michael and cherished granny to Colin and Matthew. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her husband, son, daughter, son-in-law Rodney, grandchildren, also her brothers, sister and the entire family circle.

Reposing at her late residence, 4 Millvale Road, Newry, on Friday from 12 noon until 9pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 1.30pm in St. Catherine’s Church, Dominic Street, burial afterwards in St. Mary’s cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to ‘Evora Hospice’ c/o the family or Paul McEvoy Funeral Directors. House private morning of funeral.
