Connell & Co in Dundalk to host annual Ella's Tea Party for World Down Syndrome Day this Saturday

Connell & Co in Dundalk, one of Louth's longest running family businesses, has teamed up with Down Syndrome Louth/Meath branch to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day this Saturday 21 March from 11am to 1pm, with its annual Ella's Tea Party in its premises at 5 Church St Dundalk.

Connell & Co say all are welcome to join them for a special tea party & coffee morning filled with warmth, friendship, and community spirit, as they celebrate, inclusion and raise awareness on World Down Syndrome Day.

On the day two local musicians, Tadhg and Saran O'Maolaigh are set to help provide entertainment, as well as the talented Dundalk Ukulele Strummers.

Down Syndrome Ireland Louth/Meath Branch provides support and information to over 350 families with a family member with Down syndrome in the counties of Louth & Meath.

It is run on a voluntary basis by parents of children with Down syndrome with the aid of a part time Administrator. DS Louth / Meath says it believes in supporting families to ensure the best quality of life possible for its members with Down syndrome.
