Road closures will be in place across Louth today for St Patrick's Day parades and celebrations.
Motorists are advised numerous streets in Dundalk have been closed since 5am this morning and will not reopen until 6pm this evening to facilitate the parade and family fun at Market Square where there will be live entertainment throughout the afternoon.
Market Square in Dundalk will be closed along with all roads leading to it including Philip St, Church st. Clanbrassil St, Crowe St, Park St and Dublin St.
In Ardee Dundalk Road, Fair Green, Irish St, Market St, Castle St, Bridge St and Hale St will be closed from 2pm to 5pm to facilitate the St Patrick's Day parade that will start at 3pm.

Roads in Drogheda have been closed since 10am this morning and will reopen at 2.30pm. Closures include King St, Palace St, Laurence St, West St, Donminic St, Wellington Quay and the Port area.
Drivers are being encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra time for travel during the parade period.
