Louth County Council has reminded the public that parking is free in Dundalk and Drogheda ahead of St Patrick's Day parades and celebrations kicking off.

People heading into the parades will be able to avail of on-street parking and parking in its car parks in Dundalk and Drogheda for free today as people celebrate St Patrick's Day.

Louth County Council posted on social media: "Planning a trip into town for the St Patrick’s Day celebrations??

"A reminder that car parking is FREE in Dundalk and Drogheda on St Patrick’s Day, making it easier to shop local, meet friends and enjoy the celebrations!"
