May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Tony Callan of Lacknagreagh, Kilkerley, Co Louth

In his 95th year, peacefully in Louth County Hospital. Tony, dear son of late Thomas and Katie Callan. Predeceased by his brothers Michael and Pat. Sadly missed and remembered with love by friends and neighbours. 

Reposing at home until removal on Tuesday the 3rd of March at 10.30 am to the Church of Immaculate Conception, Kilkerly arriving for 11am Requiem mass. Burial afterwords in adjoining Cemetary. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to a charity of your choice.

The death has occurred of Brian Campbell of Haliday Mill, Quay Street, Dundalk and Gort na Glaise, Blackrock, Co Louth

Suddenly on 28th February, 2026. Brian will be forever loved and deeply missed by his heartbroken parents Sean and Margaret (née Coleman), brother Eamon, sister Laura, nephews Ryan and Lee, his extended family, uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends whose lives were brightened by his kindness, generosity and gentle spirit.

The death has occurred of Rosaleen (Rosie) Connor of Gudderstown, Ardee, Co Louth

On 1 March, peacefully at Moorehall Lodge, Ardee. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Ellen. Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers Barney and Johnny, sisters Mary and Ellen and sister-in-law Nora. Sorely missed by her dedicated and devoted niece Louise and all her nieces, nephews, godchildren, extended family, friends and her newfound friends in Moorehall Lodge.

Reposing at her residence in Gudderstown on Monday from 12 noon until removal on Tuesday morning at 9.15 am to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.00 am. Burial afterwards in Louth Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Ardee Hospice Homecare.

The death has occurred of Mary Bailey (née McKenna) of Thomastown, Kilkerley, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, in the tender care of the staff of Louth County Hospital, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of Paddy, daughter of the late Owen and Elizabeth McKenna, Park Street, Dundalk. Dear sister of the late Anne and her late brothers Charlie, Owen, Eddie and Paddy.

Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Paddy, her sisters-in-law Mary McKenna (Malahide), Anna McKenna (Thomastown) and May McCaffrey (Dundalk), her brother-in-law Paul Bailey (Carlingford), her nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McGeoughs Funeral Home. Removal on Monday at 1.30pm to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilkerley, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals.
