May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of James McGuinness of Cortial, Kilkerley (Knockbridge), Co. Louth

On 24 February 2026, peacefully, in the tender care of the staff of Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Dear son of the late Phelim and Kathleen. Predeceased by his brothers Patsy, Stephen, Anthony and Gerard. Much loved husband of Marie, devoted father of Aidan and father-in-law of Michelle, and adored granda of Cara and Caelan.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his brother Phelie, sisters Julia, Mary, Breige and Evelyn, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends. 

Reposing at his residence on Thursday and Friday (26th and 27th February) from 3pm to 9pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 11.30am to St. Mary’s Church, Knockbridge, arriving for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to a charity of your choice.

The death has occurred of Angella Enogieru Eghaghe of Dundalk, Co Louth

Unexpectedly, at home, on 20 February 2026. Beloved and devoted mother of her three surviving sons Osagbovo Grahem, Lesliy Evdinosarhia and Blessed Aizenosa-David and predeceased by her baby son Randy Osadimusen. Angella will be forever loved and deeply missed by her sons, brothers, cousins, extended family, relatives and all who knew and loved her.

Funeral Ceremony in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk on Saturday at 11am. After the Ceremony, the cortège will proceed on foot to St. Patrick’s Cemetery for burial. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Home.
