Gardaí are continuing to seek the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Lorcan Meehan.
In a recent episode of RTÉ’s Crimecall, Sergeant James McDonough gave details on the missing 18-year-old, who is due to turn 19 this April.
Lorcan was last seen on January 5 and reported missing later that month to Gardaí in Ballyfermot, Dublin.
According to Sergeant McDonough, the young man’s time is spent between an area in Knockbridge, which is just 8 km outside of Dundalk town and between his home address in Ballyfermot.

Lorcan last spoke to his parents in Ballyfermot three days prior to being reported missing.
He is described as being five foot 10 inches and of a slim to medium build. He may or may not have facial hair but when he does, sports a reddish-brown beard. When last seen, the young man was in all dark, black clothing
Sergeant McDonough told RTÉ’s Crimecall: “If Lorcan was watching tonight, I would ask him to contact his family, his friends or indeed, An Garda Síochána, as there are concerns for his welfare.”
