May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Lillian Drury (née Rowntree) of Carrick Road, Dundalk, Co Louth and formerly of Kingscourt, Co Cavan

Peacefully, on 22 February, 2026, while in the tender and devoted care of the staff at Moorhall Lodge Nursing Home, Ardee, surrounded by the love and support of her family. Beloved wife of the late John (August 2022), cherished mother of Joan, Cyril and Shirley, much-loved grandmother to Michael, Clare and John and sister of the late Gerald, Ethel, James, Billy and Harry.

She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her heartbroken daughters Joan and Shirley, son Cyril, son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Fionnula, grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and many friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, warmth and gentle presence.

Funeral Service on Wednesday morning at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Ballymascanlon, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. House private at all times. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk.

The death has occurred of Marion Hall Kearns of Old Muirhevna, Dublin Road, Dundalk, Co Louth

Passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Monday 23 February 2026. Predeceased by her beloved husband Patsy, parents Winnie and Paddy and brother-in-law Johnny.

Marion will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her heartbroken family, niece Ericka Watters, her husband Ian, and children Jack, Eoghan, Harry and Tom; niece Kieva Bradley, her wife Aine, and children Darragh and Sadhbh, sister Carmel Bradley, brother Gerard and niece Adrienne, special friend Marion, extended family relatives and all her wonderful neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home, Old Muirhevna on both Tuesday and Wednesday from 2pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. House private Thursday morning, please. The death has occurred of Seán Crosson of Balbriggan, Co Dublin / Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family. Formerly of Crosson Motor Group. Beloved husband of Breda and loving father of Aoife and Muireann. Seán will be sadly missed by his sons-in -law Cormac and Steven, doting grandchildren Fiadh and Iarlaith, brother Séamus, sister Noeleen and his dear extended families and friends. Predeceased by his parents James and Molly, brothers Ronan, Gerard, Colm and Ciarán.

Reposing at his residence on Wednesday 25 February from 3pm to 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning to S.S Peter and Paul's Church, Balbriggan arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Flemington Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Bernadette McDonnell (née Rogers) of Hillside, Ardee St, Collon, Co Louth / Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully at her home. Predeceased by her husband Donald, Sisters Ann and Veronica. Sadly missed by her children Martin, Sarah, Francis J and Pia, sisters Geraldine and Mary, brothers Aidan and Fergus, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, close friends and carers.

Reposing on Tueday at Watters Funeral Home, Collon from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with removal afterwards to be received in the Church of the Mary Immaculate, Collon at 6:30pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Collon.
